Wearable Robotics Association Debuts in China & CR Expo 2017 Shapes the Future of Smart Technology

Continuous emergence of intelligent technologies keeps catalyzing a new round of scientific and technological as well as industrial revolution centering on intelligence. Recent years have seen intelligent assistive devices becoming the vital area of competition with the vigorous growth of global intelligent assistive device technology facilitating the fusion of advanced technological innovations in the field of information, internet, micro-electronics and precision machining etc. and intelligent assistive device industry.

Debut of Brand-New Featured Area and Wearable Robotics Association

We have created a featured area of robots in collaboration with American Wearable Robotics Association for this session of CR Expo.


As the largest wearable robotics alliance, Wearable Robotics Association has hosted many sessions of WearARcon which attracted, among others, rehabilitation robot companies like Ekso Bionics, suitX, Cyberdyne, indego, rewalk and ottobock and prominent universities including MIT, the University of Tokyo and Northeastern University.
Wearable Robotics Association is coming to CR Expo this year for its first landing at overseas exhibition to showcase top technologies and revolutionary products and introduce the leveraging of robots in assisting the disabled, improving work efficiency and quality of life.

Smart Technology Pavilion Shapes the Future of Intelligent Assistive Devices

The newly created Smart Technology Pavilion gathers leading brands of the industry including Fourier, Ai-robotics, Hengzhuo, GOODOING, Fulu Kang, Aging Friendly and Hubang to present an unprecedented feast to audience.

 

Fourier is going to showcase its latest exoskeleton legs--Fourier X1. It works through the 19 sensors set in joints and vola that can detect the user’s movements. With data analysis through artificial intelligent methods, it transmits signals to the moving parts to help adjust the patient’s steps and even ‘perform’ intended movements.

To appear also at the Expo are AiLegs and AiWalker from Ai-robotics who will present to visitors synchronous software systems for rehabilitation such as gait detection and evaluation system, intelligent medical report collection system and plantar pressure detection and analysis system, all to provide a set of professional, customized and visual solutions for patients’ rehabilitation.

GOODOING is going to issue its intelligent dynamic crus prosthesis-- “Windrunner”, first of its kind in China. It can capture signals transmitted by sensors at a speed of 25 times faster than that of human eyes’ identification. With calculations done by the chip, it is able to estimate the user’s geographical environment and predict his/her moving intentions. In other words, Windrunner represents a step further in combing human and robot together and sending orders to prosthesis replacing the role of human brain and biological nerves.

International Academics Converge for Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in Medical Rehabilitation

CR Expo 2017 will be held in conjunction with 2017 International Academic Annual Meeting of Wearable Robotics for Medical Rehabilitation which will focus on “Leveraging Artificial Intelligence in Medical Rehabilitation”. Experts from world leading research institutions including University of California, Berkeley, Vanderbilt University, Columbia University, Sainte-Anne Institute, Italy and College of Engineering, PKU to share views about topics like the future direction of wearable robotics technology and application of robots in medical rehabilitation.
